Kyoto International Academy of Japanese Language is located at the north area of Kyoto-city, which has quiet atmospher and is the best as a study place.
It has good transport so that you can come to the Academy by bus or train even from Osaka or Shiga.
There are many famous private universities, such as Ritsumeikan University, Doshisha University, Kyoto Sangyo University, Ryuukoku University and the National Universities, such as Kyoto University, Kyoto Prefectural University, and Kyoto Institute of Technology.

Reference desk, Lounge, Teachers' office

At the reference desk, students can consult with our staff about various matters.

At the lounge, there are 3 computers for student's use.
And students can find information about Universities or Colleges among the reference shelves.

Spot garden, Japanese style room "Washitsu", Kitchen

The spot garden shows us various scenery of Japanese seasons.
"Washitsu"　is used for the special course, such as Sado (tea celemony) experience class.
Students can experience good deal of Japanese culture.

In front of the campus, there is a Kitano-tenmangu shrine, which enshrines Michizane Sugawara , who is worshipped as the patron of learning and Hirano Shrine which is famous for its cherry trees is in 1 minutes walk from campus.
Also, there are super markets, convinience stores, DIY shop and public facilities such as post office or city library near the campus.
Students need not feel any inconvinience for life in Kyoto International Academy.
